We were unable to attend the annual Shukai event this year but we did get our friend Ryan to send us some of his cool photos! As you’ll see below, the morning of Shukai started over at SpeedElement where a bunch of SE customers (including our white FRS) met up and cruised down to San Jose’s Japantown. It’s one of the very few Japantown’s left in the states and it’s one of many reasons why Cary and the organizers behind Shukai chose this particular venue. It’s all about giving back to the community and what better way to support local Japantown shops than to gather thousands of people in the dead center of it all! We almost forgot, the quality of cars that you can see at Shukai is up there with the top car shows in the states, and as a spectator you can check them all out for the low price of $0. That’s right, Shukai is free for all spectators. Now how can you beat that? As far as variety of the vehicles goes, you can see everything from some of the finest Japanese sports cars and VIP Sedans, to American muscle & even a few Euro rides. Whatever sort of style you’re into you will find it at Shukai and that’s one of many reasons Shukai happens to be one of our favorite events of the year. Big shout out to everyone involved with putting this awesome event together and we look forward to vending there next year!
