What Cary Inayoshi & My Nguyen have done for the San Jose Japantown community is nothing short of impressive. Actually it doesn’t just stop in Japantown. It spills onto the streets all over Bay Area, Sacramento & beyond. What started off as a smaller meet to support local business just a few years ago has become into what many NorCal car enthusiasts consider a “must attend” event of the year. What makes Shukai from other events of it’s kind is that it’s not just about the cars and car enthusiasts, but it’s about the support of local businesses. More specifically, the wonderful business of Japantown in San Jose, CA. So what do you get when you mix a couple of event organizers (who also happen to be genuinely passionate automotive enthusiasts) surrounded by dozens of awesome shops?
