How many of you could show us exactly where on the map the country of Switzerland is? Located in the western Europe and bordering 5 other countries, this somewhat small of a country hardly ever gets any attention in the western world. We’re talking about their cars specifically of course. Meet Beni and his very unique VW Golf GTI. Our photographer Ronald Veth first met Beni at the recent Worthersee event where it was parked at the famous Shell gas station in Velden am See. As if a slammed GTI with Vossen wheels that sat perfectly didn’t already stand out, the color combo just screeeaaamed attention!

All of the modifications that were done to this GTI took quite a bit work to do. Mild exterior modifications such as the extended hood, and carbon fiber lip, mirrors, roof and diffuser all seem to work well with each other. One of the biggest changes that also happens to be barely noticeable is the fender work. In order to fit such oversized wheels on this GTI, Beni had to radius the fenders about 2 inches all around, widen the fronts about 2.5 inches and also widen the rears about 2.75 inches.

He also completely shaved off all the emblems and panels for that clean Euro look. One thing that had everyone tripping was the fact that it wasn’t bagged. Thats right, custom H&R based coilovers, no bags here. We’ll be honest with you here, we also thought it was on air suspension, especially being from Europe and a VW! Check out how clean the interior is of this thing. Hit the Read More button below!

All of you wanted to know what wheels these were when we posted the “teaser” shot couple of days ago. Well, they’re Vossen CV1’s (Miami, FL based wheel company) in 20×10.5 all around. Front offset being +30 and the rear offset is at +15. For the tires, Beni went with the Hankook 265/25/20 S1 EVO’s. Yes, he still rubs not only his tires but wheel lips as well. Take a look at the photos below, it almost looks as if he painted the lip white! Much respect to Beni for doing it so well out there in Switzerland!

With all that said, we would like to give a big shout out to all of our European fans. We’ve seen a ton of cars at worthersee rocking our stickers and we can’t thank you all enough. Thanks to Ronald and Beni for getting together and making this photo shoot possible. Expect to see a lot more of this car throughout the next few days as our friends over at SpeedHunters will also have an in-depth look at it!
