Yes, it’s that time of the year once again! We just wrapped up the StanceNation & Showoff Nisei Edition event about a week ago and we couldn’t be happier with it. There were a couple of changes for this years Nisei Edition event (as you’ll see in the photos), one being the change of venue! For years now there have been rumors of the old lot closing down and it finally happened in 2015. The unfortunate thing is that we didn’t get to find out way ahead of time but instead just a few months before the event. Fortunately we were able to secure the new venue (Aiso Parking Garage) just a couple blocks up from the old one. With that came a few challenges such as the not so low-car-friendly entrance to the parking garage, not being able to stage the cars on the street, and the dark lighting on the lower level of the garage, to name a couple. At the same time, we now didn’t have to sit out in the open sun all day long and actually had some shade! We’ll get into more details in our next post but for now we’ll let you enjoy the photos shot by the very talented Dionne Mascunana!
