Trying to balance form & function can be challenging at times, but it’s not a problem at all to Aaron & Ryan and their Subies. No photos or words will ever really do these cars justice, but we’ll try our hardest to paint the picture for you. Hearing Aaron’s COBB exhaust and TurboXS RFL bov screaming past you is nothing but spine-chilling. Your first instinct is to look above you for a low flying 747 jet! Even though the car is running a EJ255 motor, the Forced Performance Green Turbocharger is pulling hard at 21PSI’s. If that doesn’t astound you, perhaps some pictures may do the trick?

At the time of the shoot, Aaron was in the middle of getting his front bumper painted, but we are honestly a big fan of it’s current look. The red zipties add a nice touch to the matte black bumper. The wheel fitment is on point as well. Not the most aggressive we’ve seen but it suits the car perfectly.

Sitting Right:
18×9.5 Rota Grids wrapped in falken rt-615
BC Racing br Coilovers

Out in the rear Aaron’s running the Syms Wing with a nice carbon fiber touch, as well as a custom home made diffuser which happens to look better than plenty of the ones you see on the market right now. The car used to sit a lot lower but after cracking lips and damaging bumpers Aaron just had enough and raised it a bit. Really though, the front lip is still relatively close to the ground and watching the car go over any bumps or slight inclines is very discomforting to say the least.

Running Strong:

You’ll be seeing a lot more of Aaron’s car in the near future for sure, as he plans on getting the front painted again very soon, and eventually going with a bit more aggressive tire setup.

Nardi suede 330mm deep corn steering wheel
Blox neochrome shift knob
Assortment of bride wrapper door cards, liner, back seats & bride seats.

With that said, check out Ryan Gonzales’ ride. It’s also sitting on Rota Grids but unlike Aaron, Ryan went with the Hyper-black look. He has the same set of Coilovers as Aaron (BC Racing) but they still manage to differentiate the cars from one another mainly due to the body modifications and the obvious colors of course. Ryan decided to go wingless on the trunk and added a Carbon Fiber Window Spoiler, which we love by the way. ARP Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser in the back and the Blacktop Aero Carbon Fiber Front Lip also sets the cars apart a lot. While the car may have a slight wheel gap, he is running a negative 2.5 camber all around as well as 5MM spacers which give this car such a great presence.

Big thanks to both fellas for taking time out of their busy schedules and allowing Jeremy to shoot the cars. We’ll be looking out for you both in the near future and seeing where these things take you. You can check out more photos on Jeremy’s Flickr right now!
