Not often do you get the opportunity to visit shops such as Liberty Walk, but luckily for our photographer Mark, he was able to make a trip up to the LB headquarters and even capture a few awesome photos. Liberty Walk Performance really doesn’t need an introduction. They’ve been in the spotlight for the last couple of years and are nowadays most known for having the balls to cut up really expensive cars creating some of the wildest aero parts out there (in the states at least) for many high-end cars; Lamborghini Murcielago, BMW M3 & Ferrari 458. They actually make parts for other cars such as Gallardo’s, Aventadors & even Prius’ (Yes, Toyota freaking Prius!), but those particular cars aren’t as “known” around the blogosphere as some the others.
One of the more famous cars that Liberty Walk makes a kit for is the Nissan GTR, which is exactly what we’re going to be looking at today. The day our photographer Mark was visiting the shop there happened to be two different GTR’s. Both were pretty identical besides the obvious color difference, wheels and other small stuff.
The full LB kit consists of front bumper, front fenders, rear fenders, rear diffuser and the wild GT wing. How much do the kits go for you ask? Right around the $15,000 mark. Is it worth the money? In our humble opinion, HELL YES! If you have the money and want your GTR to stand out pretty much everywhere you go, this is the kit you should probably be looking at. Just make sure you go with an extremely aggressive set of wheels!
Then we have this blue GTR. My personal favorite from all the LB kitted GTR’s around the world. Great choice on the color, wouldn’t you agree? Both of these cars are sitting on Rotiform wheels and both are equipped with AirLift air suspension. Not the first combo you would expect on a widebody Nissan GTR out of Japan, but they certainly do the job well as you can tell.
So what is it about the cars that Liberty Walk puts out that most of us just can’t get enough of? Is it the massive fenders? The big wings? The exposed rivets? Or is it simply the aggressive presence of these cars?
Check out all the small details on these cars, like the titanium finish on the badge, to match the exhaust tips. Don’t think there is too much going on in the interior besides some re-upholstery work to match the exterior. We’ll be back with more very soon. Mark was able to capture some awesome shots of a bunch of badass classics sitting inside the shop. Stay tuned, you’re going to love what’s coming your way!
