The quickest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it back in your pocket.
Have you ever heard of that saying? Know where it comes from? The Lone Star State my friend. Texas produces more wool than any other state in the country. They also have some of the craziest setups when it comes to aggressive fitment. They take their fitment game seriously and I’ve yet to see a car from the great state of Texas that disappoints. It’s more then hobby, even more then a passion to most of these guys. It truly is a culture that runs deep throughout the state. Here is what I am talking about.
The state that brought you Swang N Bang, Stance of the Union, Lone Star Bash and many more great things that play such a big part in the stance movement now brings you this absolutely awesome Honda S2000. Sitting pretty on Work Emotion XD9’s it’s daily driven and of course, driven hard or as some Texans like to call it, Swanging In & Out. No bags here, are you serious? This S2K is equipped with MDU Coilovers. Aggressive fitment is the only way to go, and this car literally defines just that.
Built Not Bought are the keywords here. You are probably looking at the custom trim under the OEM lip and asking yourself what kind it is. Have you ever heard of Lowes before? Yes, custom made by the owner Hansen Tran to sit even lower and look even better if you ask me. The presence of this car can be felt without even looking at the car. It can be seen and heard miles away. The 18×9 w/225/40 up front, and 18×10 w/245/35 couldn’t fit in there just right so some slight pulling and of course rolling of fenders did the job.
Rocking a custom painted hardtop to match the car (previously Silverstone) and a Blox Super Short Antenna really give the car that clean and that’s exactly what Hansen wanted. Who would have thought pulling off a super aggressive look can be achieved with a few simple mods, right?
With that said, I want to give a big shout out to our friend Miguel Martinez from Swang N Bang for the great photography, and a big props to the state of Texas! Of course, let’s not forget Hansen Tran, the owner of this crazy fitted S2K. We are glad to be a part of this movement, and couldn’t be more happy that it’s going in the exact direction where it should be going. If you really want to see how Texas does it I personally encourage you to check out the 512 Project brought to you by StanceWorks & Fatlace.
As always, you know what to do to view more photos of this Texan!
