Couple of weeks ago we showed you a few photos of this B4 Legacy from Japan. Seeing how the overall response was pretty positive (some even asked for more) we figured we would try and get in touch with the owner for a more in-depth look at this thing. It turns out the owner is a pretty big fan of StanceNation and he was super stoked that we wanted to see more of his car. (Big shout out to you Nabe!) He was kind enough to take some photos of his car for us and even send us his spec list. So what is it about this Legacy that we love so much, some of you may be asking yourselves. Well let’s be honest here, first of all, most of us have never even thought about how a Legacy’s would look with the right set of wheels and drop let alone consider doing it. Are we correct? Secondly, this thing sits just right. Just the right amount of poke and stretch, just the right drop and just the right amount of camber, though some beg to differ on that last one. Without further ado, let’s take a look at some numbers and photos…

Let’s hope Nabe’s car can inspire a few Legacy guys here stateside. We can definitely use a few more “stanced” Legacy’s in this community of ours. This particular car is a 2003 Blitzen Legacy B4. We don’t know much about “Blitzen” but after the owner mentioned “Porsche Design” we had to look into it. Turns out the Blitzen models were a result of a collaboration with Porsche Design back from 2001 to 2003 as the owner mentioned. Things like wheels, body kit, and interior were all designed by Porsche Design. Nabe still had to add his own touch once the mod bug bit him.

His most recent wheels are the beautiful Volk TE37 Super Laps. They are 17×9 all around with an offset of +22 though Nabe changed the PCD from 5×100 to 5×114.3 which also put him at a final offset of positive 15mm up front and positive 20mm in the rear. The current tire size Nabe runs is 205/40/17. You really can’t talk wheels/tires without mentioning that Brembo big brake kit. It looks stunning on there, what do you say?

Suspension wise he is running a Japanese kit called KGM DNA Damper. They are paired with some 20kg Tanabe springs (stiff much?) which keep the car stable and in check. One of the best parts about this car is the controversial camber. While Nabe tells us it’s only at about -8 degrees we definitely think it may be more towards -10. Regardless, we definitely think that running a bit of an aggressive camber all around was a good idea. Kind of separated himself from other Legacy’s in Japan and elsewhere in the world. It’s no “ONI-kyan” but just enough to get your attention.

Believe it or not, besides the “Remus” exhaust and the Alfa Romeo 157 side mirrors most of the car is pretty OEM. Japanese automotive enthusiast are known for taking things to another level whether it’s retrofitting kits from other cars or creating completely new ones but it’s definitely nice to see something more simple from time to time. Another fine example of less being more and working out just fine. Check out the way this thing sits in these photo below.

As always, we’ll leave you with a ton more photos. We would like to thank Nabe for being our fan and building such a clean ride. We love it and I’m sure most of you do to, right? Drop a comment in the box below and let Nabe what you think, he’ll be reading your comments. Last but not least we would like to give a huge shout out to our really good friend and Japanese staff member Anju for helping us make this feature happen! Until next time friends…
