If Ronald McDonald was into slammed vans this is probably what he would be driving. I know, such a silly attempt at being funny right? But that’s OK. I’ve always had a thing for vans and was actually really close to purchasing an Odyssey or Previa (Estima) such as this one, but unfortunately I never pulled the trigger. To many of you it may be a waste of time and money, but I personally feel otherwise. The need to be different has always been a thing for me. But it’s not about me right now, it’s about Takashi Watanabe out of Japan and his amazing Toyota Estima Lucida Spec.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get enough information about the car due to language barrier, but we did get plenty of photos and some basic information. Takashi is part of a well known car club named LASTLY and drives this piece of art on daily basis. Contrary to what Internet wants you to believe, not everyone in Japan is on coilovers. Takashi’s beautiful Estima is actually equipped with ACC Air Bomber suspension, made by the guys at AirRunner Air Systems.
Before we get into wheels/tire specs, why don’t we look at that audio setup! The entire interior was redone, but all the magic is in the rear where speakers and amps take up all the space. Most of the specs are on the bottom of the page so make sure you scroll down.
Not too many cars can pull off yellow wheels, let alone vans. Again, it may not be everyone’s cup of tea but the least you can do is appreciate the vision and work that was put into this beauty. Wheels are WedsSport SA-55M’s sized properly at 19×9.5 in the front & 19×10.5 in the rear and wrapped in 215/35 & 235/35 Nitto NT555 tires.
Aero is all custom including retrofitting of a Celsior/LS430 front bumper and DAD side skirts and rear bumper. Most importantly, the fenders have been widened about 35mm in the front and close to 45mm in the rear to not only fit those aggressive wheels but complete the look of the car.
It’s pretty obvious that there is a ton of custom work done to the suspension and arms as well as the exterior but unfortunately we weren’t able to get the full story due to language barrier as mentioned before.
