Just how many EM1’s do you see out there that are as clean as this one? We’re talking about the whole package here, not just their fitment specifically. We first showed you Chivas’ super clean Civic a couple of weeks ago, and due to the incredible amount of requests we received to have a full feature of it, our photographer Randy Phat was able to make it happen for you. Randy and Chivas recently met up just outside of Vegas where they spent some time taking several awesome photos for us. After seeing the car in depth all we can tell you is that Chivas has to be the luckiest baddest 20 year old “car guy” out there. His Civic may just make up for all the rice you’ve seen since Civics first came out!

Ever since first moving to the states from Philippines, Chivas has always had a thing for Hondas. His first purchase back in 2005 was this once bone stock electron blue pearl Civic Si. Over the next 6 years of ownership and thousands of dollars, he has transformed his EM1 into one of the better ones we’ve seen in quite a long time. The most notable change is of course the paint. Wanting something that stands out from the other Civics, Chivas laid down a few coats of House Of Kolor Sunset Orane paint. The body kit days of Hondas are gone, so Chivas is only rocking the stock Si lip up front. Other than that you’ll notice JDM side markers and window visors, CTR headlights, lightly smoked taillights, gloss black roof and Seibon cf hood. It’s really all little stuff that works really well together.
The engine bay is no joke either. It’s actually the thing we like most about this ride. The mod list is very long so we’ll attach it on the bottom of this feature for you. Just recently though, Chivas got the bay fully shaved and painted in a sexy Custom Maziora Chameleon paint job. Under the hood you’ll also find Jdm GSR long block, Highend tri-y header, Skunk2 cam gears, Type-r cams and many other things. As you can tell, it’s not only looks that he was after. This thing is just right if you ask us.
We almost forgot about the Mugen Twin Loop, Custom 2.5 mid-pipe and Skunk2 test pipe on this bad boy.
We finally get to your favorite part, the fitment. It’s probably got the most narrow set of wheels we’ve ever featured on Stance:Nation yet they look absolutely sexy. JDM 36mm 5lug conversion was done and a set of Sprint Hart CPR’s in 16×7 (+18), 16×8 (+20) wrapped in Yokohama S-drives 195/40/16’s all around were mounted on. It’s sitting on Koni Yellow adjustable struts w/Ground control sleeve overs, though Chivas already has a set of Skunk2 coils that should be going up any time now.

Future plans for this Civic consist of a new paintjob, a K20 swap and other small stuff. Don’t think he would ever consider selling his ride after all the time and money that was put into it.
